UPDATE ON THE ORPHAN: He has now been"fixed" and ready for a new home. We will split the cost of the surgery/shots with new owners. Should be about $50.
About two weeks ago some unkind, abusive, irresponsible sort dumped this beautiful, young what looks very much like a Maine Coon kitty at our house. They must have known....Anyway, full of knotted fur, he has assumed control of the house, with the exception of the alpha cat, Smokin'!
He's tested negative for feline lukemia, so next week will probably see the surgeon. Friend of ours really wants the kitty, and can have him, soon as he finds a suitable litter box and/or place for it.
