Waldo Canyon Fire near, very near, Colorado Springs, CO. Photos taken off the net from a variety of photographers and tv stations in CO.

 In spite of the implied tragedy, this is a classic photo of the smoke from the Waldo Canyon fire.


















At the top of this hill was a house with a view.  Loved 'em both.  House now in ashes.

Such beauty, such destruction.  It is difficult, yes, heartbreaking, to consider the devastation of wildlife.

I have no clue what they are, except there is a day lily in there and a cone flower, I think it is called. Unfortunately, I was not quick enough to get the camera on the humming bird that was on the red flower.  Maybe next time!
